I've seen Franz Ferdinand several times over the last 10 years and this was the best show I have seen them play. I was worried given the break up and discourse rumors that perhaps the band wouldnt be as enthusiastic on stage but i couldnt have been more wrong. Alex still rules the stage like Freddie Mercury, Nick still rocks his hips like Dwight Yokum, Bob still just stands there and Paul IMO is the BEST drummer of my generation. they played plenty of their older music with a nice blend of their new tracks. I am still in a daze over it. The venue was excellent and more intimate. I wish I could relive that night over and over.
ONLY complaint, they didnt sing Michael or Right action?, and I saw the set list because I was in the front and those songs were on it, but they did sing Jacqueline so practically all is nearly forgiven.
